Correct Address

It is your responsibility to ensure that OSFA has your correct address at all times. You have the ability to update this information in UI-Integrate Self-Service, in the Personal Information section.

Address Definitions:

  1. Permanent Address is usually where your parents live or where you live when you are not enrolled at the University. The permanent and mailing addresses can be the same. OSFA sends all correspondence to your permanent address until the week before the fall semester begins. During fall and spring semesters, from mid-August to early May, OSFA sends all correspondence to your mailing address.
  2. Mailing Address is your local/campus address. Again, the permanent and mailing addresses can be the same. OSFA begins sending information to your mailing address during mid-August through the first week of May, unless you have a residence hall address. Many University offices will use the mailing address year round.
  3. Residence Hall Address is for students living in University of Illinois Residence Halls.
Initially the residence hall address and the mailing address will be the same. However, you may enter a different mailing address. While the residence hall address is active, OSFA will send all correspondence to this address from mid-August to early May.
