Parkland Concurrent Enrollment
You may enroll at Parkland College and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign at the same time. To ensure the coursework will meet your degree requirements, talk to your academic advisor or an authorized person in your college office regarding acceptance of course credits taken at Parkland College.

Eligibility
To receive financial aid based on your concurrent enrollment at Parkland College:
- Complete the Parkland Financial Aid Concurrent Enrollment Agreement form.
- Submit it to the Parkland College Office of Financial Aid, who will then mail it to OSFA for processing
Your financial aid eligibility will be revised according to:
- The combined credit hours at UIUC and Parkland College
- The combined tuition and fees, and in accordance with financial aid program restrictions
A revised award letter will be mailed to you after your aid eligibility is determined.
Disbursement
The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, as the degree-granting institution, will disburse your total financial aid eligibility to you. All aid will credit to your University of Illinois student account, and pay Illinois first. A refund check for the excess, if any, will be credited to your bank account through Direct Deposit or mailed to you. It will be your responsibility to pay Parkland College for tuition and fees.
Concurrent enrollment awarding is done manually, based on the tuition and fees of both the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Parkland College. The financial aid credits based on additional hours at Parkland College cannot be processed until after the add/drop dates which affect the tuition charges at both institutions. Typically, students can expect to have their financial aid adjusted by early October for the fall semester, and by early/mid February for the spring semester.
