State of Illinois Monetary Award Program (MAP) Grant Update
Governor Quinn signed Senate Bill 1180 on Sunday, October 18, 2009. The bill appropriates an additional $205 million to ISAC to restore funding for the Monetary Award Program (MAP) Grant for the remainder of the 2009-2010 academic year.
Your 2009-2010 Financial Aid Award Letter reflects the amount of Spring 2010 MAP that you are eligible to receive. This can be viewed electronically through UI-Integrate Self-Service.
FAFSA
The Office of Student Financial Aid encourages all students to apply for federal financial aid. For Fall 2009, Spring 2010 and Summer 2010, complete the 2009 - 2010 FAFSA online now. Our Federal School Code is 001775.
Academic awards and merit based scholarships are primarily awarded by the college or department in which the student is enrolled. Search for a Scholarship.

The Office of Student Financial Aid will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 26-27, 2009 for the Thanksgiving holiday. We will reopen on Monday, November 30.
